New Publication — Advancing Emergency Cardiac Care Through AI

Congratulations to Jake Hoyne, MD, Associate Director of Operations, Department of Emergency Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, on the publication of new research in JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions.

The multicenter study, “AI-Enabled ECG Analysis Improves Diagnostic Accuracy and Reduces False STEMI Activations: A Multicenter U.S. Registry,” examined the use of AI-enabled ECG analysis to improve the diagnosis of acute coronary occlusion. The findings demonstrate the potential for AI to improve diagnostic accuracy and reduce false STEMI activations, supporting more precise and timely emergency cardiovascular care.
